What was your favourite moment, worst moment and the overall rating for the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship Series?

Re: V8 Supercars 2007 Review
The Best part this year for me was when Skaife got his 38th round win at Eastern Creek and Autobarn kicking some a**e was another highlight. The worst part of the year would have to be at Bahrain when Lowndes, Whincup and I think Moris crashed heavily.

Yea, he (Morris) shouldn't have a license! He just wrecks it for everybody!

Whincup would have had the championship.

Re: V8 Supercars 2007 Review
1-My favorite part was when Jase and Murph kicked Holden Motorsport in the a**e themselves at Bathurst. At least they had Harrop power, not AP's! Later on in the year, I asked a Harrop worker if Harrop himself was going to sell off his brakes to HRT and Toll HSV...
2-David, didn't you want GT to win the championship
3- What about Oran Park Race 2 David? Where Jase passed Whingers and he hit him?
Or Symmons Plains where GT hit Steve and he had no steering?

I did want GT to win as soon as I realised that Skaife wouldn't

Re: V8 Supercars 2007 Review
Nothing was good because Tasman didn't win anything!
JUST KIDDING! My fave moment? Oran Park because Lee Holdsworth made Lowndes and Skaife, Murphy etc (!) look like amateurs!

Well in my opinion, it would have to be as I said before AutoBarn finishing just outside the Top 10. A second highlight would have to be when Lowndes/Whincup did the double.

Re: V8 Supercars 2007 Review
They ended up around 18th I think, Autobarn. And yes, for anyone whos interested Whincup's worst Bathurst result since 2004 is 9th and has been 2nd, 1st and 1st the last three years! Amazing, eh?
Re: V8 Supercars 2007 Review
There was nothing wrong with Bathurst. The usual things happened for both Holden and Ford fans. Ford has a 1-2-3, but the most embarrassing moment for Ford would be when Whincup overshot the pits.

Re: V8 Supercars 2007 Review
I should've chucked a rock at that point to keep him there...
Anyway, stark contrast to how he entered the pits to give it to Jason for the last stint in 2005!

Re: V8 Supercars 2007 Review
But do these mistakes actually play in your favour??? It has happened many a time and it just makes you want to win it even more!!!
Re: V8 Supercars 2007 Review
Well, good point. GT ran off while in 2nd in 2003 and LP's famous "I crashed while in the lead!" in 2001. Apart from those mistakes I haven't really heard of anybody doing that.
