Base (I6): 200kw, 400Nm
Base (I6 E-gas): 180kw, ???Nm
XR (I6/T): 230kw, 450Nm / 250-260kw, 500Nm
XR (V8 ): 280-290kw, 520-540Nm
FPV (I6T): 300Kw, 575Nm
FPV (V8 ): 310-320Kw, 550Nm

Although these power figures are GMH/HSV slaughtering (sorry, couldn't resist ), for it to be faster than the SS and GTS etc, the Falc needs to go on a diet!

this, I believe and hope, is the rear end of the Orion Falcon (When I mean hope, I hope I'm right)...

WRONG! The new Mondeo is the donor car aesthetically... And the current Falc' mechanically (with some exciting suspension and drivetrain upgrades which should make it handle better than the VE according to MOTOR...)

310kW? I think (i'm not going to say the FPV's will be fat) the HSV will have an edge in SLS and Corners. Why? The HSV's have really good getaways and have a 50/50 weight distribution.

FPV have been getting help from Aston Martin for the cars dynamics. Does I need to say anything else?

But then again, it was ahead by that much on BF's wasn't it? They could be roughly 14.6 or 14.5 if they are lucky. What about the price range? Any one want to predict?

They would be probably the same price or cheaper to compete with Holden/HSV vehicles

is your Holden/HSV biasy blinding you? 14sec?! try 13sec passes all day for the GT! 11 - 12's for the 'phoon maybe! price? might be a bit more than current range, but not too much more...

Yeah, apart from the Astra I haven't heard of any turbocharged HSV's that sell well. However a VE Commodore SS would still beat it on a track.

Wait until the Orion comes out, then we may compare. Because you guys are comparing the OLD Ford Falcon with the NEW Holden Commodore. Sounds as rigged as the V8SC IPO! lol
