It looks alright. I don't like the headlights though...

Well; here is the best overview: http://www.drive.com.au/FordFalcon2008
Re: 2008 FG Ford Falcon released
The FG is safer, more fuel efficient, spacious and dare I say it, more practical as a family car than the VE!
Re: 2008 FG Ford Falcon released
And even Holden fans are predicting sub 5 sec sprints to 100 km/h for the XR6T!
Re: 2008 FG Ford Falcon released
Looks alright, hate the interior. I especially hate the driving position. It doesn't look right. Nor do I like the standard family car front. It looks dead set ugly. Especially the XT.
More practical? Dunno...
XR6 Turbo times? Acheivable.
Just depends on the sales, that's all.

Practicallity wise: less thirsty, more spacious and powerful than VE. May also be chaeper! (highly doubtful though...)
XR6T times: easily achievable!
Sales: the maker or braker of not just the Falc, but the big 3! [Falc, Commy and Aurion]
Re: 2008 FG Ford Falcon released
Oh, the rear could've been better in my mind, but it is sufficient to be better than the VE's big boxy bum...
Re: 2008 FG Ford Falcon released
It may pull sub 5sec quaters, but will it be enough to beat the VE on the race track?

Re: 2008 FG Ford Falcon released
So, if a XR6 Turbo can do 5s... Nah, I don't thing FPV can make a car out of the FG range that goes under 5 seconds. No WAY!
The last GT "only" made a 6.41 ET.

Re: 2008 FG Ford Falcon released
You could be in for a shock, as you never know what FPV have install for us...
Re: 2008 FG Ford Falcon released
Well consider that the new Falcon has 320kW. But it won't have Magnetic Ride Control or most likely the 50/50 weight distribution which will make the GTS faster around the track despite the 13kW penalty
Re: 2008 FG Ford Falcon released
Does the rear door remind you of anything?? Maybe the VE??

Re: 2008 FG Ford Falcon released
Well Ford claims it has better vision and entry and exit than the VE.... but they do look familiar don't they...
