Muse takes No.1 song on Triple J for 2007!

Yes, it's true. Muse have taken out the Hottest 100 No.1 title with their song, Knights of Cydonia, by only 13 votes out of 700,000!

The top 10 looked like this:

3 Kings of Leon On Call
4 John Butler Trio Better Than
5 Faker This Heart Attack
6 Foo Fighters Pretender
7 Daft Punk Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
8 Cold War Kids Hang me up to Dry
9 Soko I'll Kill her
10 The Panics Don't fight it

Special mention goes to Soko, who has no record deal and was found over the Internet by Triple J.
There were a record number of Aussie music in this year's hottest 100, with 53, beating the previous record of 52 in 2002.
This was also the first countdown that did not feature The Living End in the top 10.
