2009 Fantasy Championship: Coming in February!
Hello. As you come back onto this site you will notice this page. And some of you will think of it as BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING!
As you are about to find out, it won't be.
The rules of this game are....
1. You can pick any driver, however:
- One has to have finished in the top 10 in the Championship last year.
- One has to have finished from 11-20th in last year's Championship.
- One has to have finished from 21-28th in last year's Championship,
- And one for a driver that is new (or RETURNING!) to the series.
- Two drivers have to drive a Ford, two have to drive a Holden.
2. Championship Points
The Championship in this fantasy game has different point systems.
In the current point system, 300 points are required for a clean sweep. This will be harder for drivers to get in 2009 under my rules. Why? Because under my rules practise and qualifying count for points! But don't think of this point system as the only one to count. 2007, 2006 and 2005 points will count. As well as that Bathurst and Phillip Island will count for DOUBLE POINTS!!!! And one final thing. YES: Decimal points will come into the equation, to make it EVEN MORE interesting (and close!) So at Bathurst there are 4 practise sessions, three qualifying sessions, a warm up, and of course, the race. Which means that 1st down to around 28-29's points in every session will work like this:
Total number of points for coming in that position
----------------------------------------------- = points scored.
9
That's all, in fact I'm thinking of some rules for future usage.
